In the 14th minute, Lütfi Kadrettin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 16th minute Nihat Ilıca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nihat Ilıca in the 16th minute of play. In the 45th minute Nihat Ilıca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Murillo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nihat Ilıca to make the kick off.
