Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardino Ofelio got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Narciso Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mo Caso made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 18 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Kinsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Arnulfo Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Laurita FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen did a great save. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Kinsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Vargas in the 33rd minute of play. After 34th play minutes Bernardino Ofelio shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Pedro Manzanares and just under the crossbar into goal. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Kinsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the match, Laurita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Arnulfo Kinsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Cazalla in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Indiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnulfo Kinsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Csaba Szénási, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Vargas in the 63rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 64th minute of play forced Laurita FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Kinsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Kinsen. Arnulfo Kinsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csaba Szénási in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernardino Ofelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Abram Secada struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Mastache in the 76th minute. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnulfo Kinsen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Mastache in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnulfo Kinsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Mario Alberto Kempes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 89th minute, Luis Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 94th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
