Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Comșa in the 6th minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Codruț Ababei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fălciu's goalkeeper Filip Ivănescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Codruț Ababei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Ababei in the 24th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ivănescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Fălciu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Fălciu booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fălciu's Maxim Zbârnea was substituted for Codruț Ababei. When Orlando Casaus came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Casaus couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Zbârnea's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ivănescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Fălciu from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Maxim Zbârnea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Filip Ivănescu was a little too slow when Guillermo Fontirroig got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ivănescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Comșa in the 67th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Filip Ivănescu made a huge save. After 72 minutes Fălciu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. In the 72nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Filip Ivănescu in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filip Ivănescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filip Ivănescu, 1-2. A collision led to Fălciu getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vasile Cârnațiu hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Sabin Comșa sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Filip Ivănescu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Fălciu's Vasile Cârnațiu got a free kick in the 97th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
