Punisher's Ilias Lazarou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 20th minute of play. Luis Andino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ishmael in the 75th minute of play. With his leg Ilias Lazarou managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 79 minutes into the match, Punisher's goalkeeper Ilias Lazarou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. After 81 played minutes Punisher got a freekick which was hit by Iason Sofianopoulos. Ilias Lazarou acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Zorita. When Punisher's Hermengildo Ishmael in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Iason Sofianopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punisher's protests and gave Iason Sofianopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. Iason Sofianopoulos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
