Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Niedbalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match Aarhus & Targówek FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucjan Ludwa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lucjan Ludwa made a great header on Aarhus & Targówek FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Walas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Niedbalski was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Aarhus & Targówek FC's Jerzy Niedbalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, Aarhus & Targówek FC's Przemyslaw Walas got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Aarhus & Targówek FC's Jerzy Niedbalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Aarhus & Targówek FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
