The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kemal Perkin was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Araklılı Avareler 1961 booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball.
