Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narcomillo Parot took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Barrabases de Victoria's Narcomillo Parot in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guntademaro Portillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guntademaro Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Barrabases de Victoria's Guntademaro Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. Guntademaro Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guntademaro Portillo having to make a save. 50 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Narcomillo Parot came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Barrabases de Victoria getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Bairon Galarce hit a great ball. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Narcomillo Parot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Narcomillo Parot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban José Belmar's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban José Belmar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Esteban José Belmar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Guntademaro Portillo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Barrabases de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Tanio Quilodrán. Barrabases de Victoria's Octavio Parro was substituted for Emanuel Diaz de León. Salvador Gisbert made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Barrabases de Victoria's José Carlos Delgado. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Narcomillo Parot came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcomillo Parot in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Esteban José Belmar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrabases de Victoria's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban José Belmar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narcomillo Parot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban José Belmar in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
