When Karl-Johan Hagberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Södermalm FK's protests and gave Karl-Johan Hagberg a yellow card for diving instead. Cimone made a substitution. Emiliano Disastro replaced Florian Tieri. Karl-Johan Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Lukas Kvarnström made a precise shot to the right of Carmine Di Rocco. Cimone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lukas Kvarnström scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmine Di Rocco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Bocklund in the 14th minute of play forced Cimone's goalkeeper Carmine Di Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Södermalm FK's Östen Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Gervasi in the 16th minute of play. If Lukas Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carmine Di Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Valdevielso came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Östen Ahlbom could save by the left post. When Lukas Kvarnström came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Södermalm FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lukas Kvarnström couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes Södermalm FK got a freekick which was hit by Marko Nordström. Södermalm FK were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Cimone's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jesus Woodward took the corner. In the 37th minute, Domenico Tatangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Östen Ahlbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Gervasi in the 40th minute of the match. Carmine Di Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Lukas Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Lukas Kvarnström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Carmine Di Rocco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Kvarnström in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Di Rocco saved Cimone from getting behind. The Cimone players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Södermalm FK were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kåre Bocklund made a kick off. Lukas Kvarnström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Di Rocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. At last the ball reached Bengt Andersson at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Cimone. 0-4. Östen Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Tatangelo in the 56th minute of play. Emiliano Disastro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Östen Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint Barton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Södermalm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Bocklund charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kåre Bocklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Södermalm FK made a substitution. Nicola Zaniolo replaced Kåre Bocklund. Kåre Bocklund kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Lukas Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Södermalm FK's Östen Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Gervasi in the 73rd minute of play. Carmine Di Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Kvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Östen Ahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clint Barton's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Nemesio Lope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Cimone's goal looked a bit too open when Nicola Zaniolo came free, but Carmine Di Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Flavio Galeone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cimone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södermalm FK the free kick. In the 92nd minute Nicola Zaniolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Di Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Galeone kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Carmine Di Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Kvarnström in the 95th minute of play. The Södermalm FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Södermalm FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
