When Daniel Alves fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkyra FC's protests and gave Daniel Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Kerkyra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Alves to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Kouloucheris, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Radu Corocăescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Radu Corocăescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Radu Corocăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Daniel Alves in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Luis Cazalla. 46 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Radu Corocăescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zlatan Messi to strike the kick off in the second half. Kerkyra FC's Erli Haaland managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Tafalla in the 53 minute of the game. Joshua Garrido was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kerkyra FC made a substitution. Vassilis Mavreas replaced Theofilos Tripitsidis. Zlatan Messi scored 4-3 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zlatan Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After 73 played minutes Kerkyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Alves. In the 75th minute, Thanos Papagiannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Mastache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Radu Corocăescu made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Kerkyra FC's Koulis Kouloucheris. But to his dismay, Koulis Kouloucheris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Radu Corocăescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Kerkyra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Radu Corocăescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Radu Corocăescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Radu Corocăescu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute Yao Lin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Radu Corocăescu made a huge save. Radu Corocăescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerkyra FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
