Máximo Laureano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monty Rogers got free with Máximo Laureano in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Gentil Setúbal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Terceirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Máximo Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gentil Setúbal in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gentil Setúbal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gentil Setúbal to make the kick off. Diego Bradley made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Monty Rogers however managed to control. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gentil Setúbal took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Gentil Setúbal came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Terceirense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gentil Setúbal couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Laureano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gentil Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Terceirense F.C.'s Donovan Daval was substituted for Gentil Setúbal. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Fabien Raillard replaced Aleksander Kapera. 78 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, USA's Edward Mcdonald made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Laureano was left in no man's land by his defense there! USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. The corner led USA's Jenson Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Máximo Laureano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
