If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Mansouri, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rubinho Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Phenomenals FC's Fodil Mansouri made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fodil Mansouri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Phenomenals FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Youssef Sofiane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Youssef Sofiane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of the match. Youssef Sofiane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Fodil Mansouri in the 33rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Rubinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubinho Melo in the 37th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Sofiane having to interfere. Youssef Sofiane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fodil Mansouri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youssef Sofiane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Phenomenals FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Youssef Sofiane quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fodil Mansouri, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Youssef Sofiane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Rubinho Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Youssef Sofiane made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Fodil Mansouri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The supporters of Phenomenals FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fodil Mansouri in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 89 minutes, Fodil Mansouri made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodil Mansouri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute Phenomenals FC were awarded a corner. Abdellah Gourion went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Abdellah Gourion almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The Phenomenals FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
