The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Youssef Sofiane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Rubinho Melo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Phenomenals FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Melo couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Belmadi Belkheir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Phenomenals FC's Youssef Sofiane got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. A collision led to Phenomenals FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Belmadi Belkheir hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Youssef Sofiane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fodil Mansouri in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youssef Sofiane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Youssef Sofiane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Sofiane having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Mancebo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Youssef Sofiane saved Phenomenals FC from getting behind. Youssef Sofiane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Sofiane having to interfere. Abdellah Gourion charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdellah Gourion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phenomenals FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Belmadi Belkheir kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
