If Saul Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Saul Canor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Canor might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Canor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Saul Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Sentinel's goalkeeper Yaya Kunaefi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sentinel:s goal. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Saul Canor:s penalty. Saul Canor scored 1-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Saul Canor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Yaya Kunaefi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. Agan Wijaya hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sentinel's Agan Wijaya. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Canor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yaya Kunaefi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 58 minutes into the match, Sentinel's Budi Sudarsono sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yaya Kunaefi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Yaya Kunaefi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Yaya Kunaefi in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Canor in the 81st minute of play. Sentinel's Yaya Kunaefi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sentinel from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Saul Canor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Sentinel players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
