In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Izydor Szkaradek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Szkaradek in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Jan Bondel from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 16 minutes into the match, Lipowo SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rolando Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Berenguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipowo SSA's goalkeeper Rolando Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Izydor Szkaradek in the 26th minute. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rolando Berenguer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Berenguer. Rolando Berenguer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rutger Carlsson. In the 35th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lipowo SSA's Rolando Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Luis Andino scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Berenguer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Izydor Szkaradek sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Rolando Berenguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Berenguer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lipowo SSA's Rolando Berenguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Lipowo SSA from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Rolando Berenguer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Zenon Bochinski fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipowo SSA's protests and gave Zenon Bochinski a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Lipowo SSA got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Bochinski. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rolando Berenguer made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lipowo SSA's Rolando Berenguer did a great save. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rolando Berenguer made a huge save. After 78 played minutes Lipowo SSA got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Majorski. Agustín Saelices could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Rolando Berenguer made a huge save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Berenguer, 0-8. After a defensive mix-up in Lipowo SSA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Berenguer came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Lipowo SSA's Rolando Berenguer got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Berenguer having to interfere.
