In the 13th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rolando Berenguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Berenguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Berenguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Rolando Berenguer in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Lipowo SSA's goalkeeper Rolando Berenguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lipowo SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 82nd match minute, Lipowo SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Mochadlo to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Mochadlo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszko Mochadlo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Lipowo SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Mochadlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Bochinski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lipowo SSA's Marek Jakisz got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 秦真战 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, 秦真战 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jan Bondel came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lipowo SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Bondel couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lipowo SSA.
