SK 10's Tzolo Pisarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Chicote in the 24th minute of play. If Gerasim Kulinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Asparuh Velchevski sent off a good shot on target. Mario Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzolo Pisarski having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Bolivia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SK 10.
