Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Auguste Macaigne to make the kick off. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Auguste Macaigne hit a great ball. Malcom Pradelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sofiane Fleurant charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sofiane Fleurant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 95th minute of play forced Lambres's goalkeeper Malcom Pradelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
