The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Toli in the 8th minute of play. Celalettin Eraltay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Alexis Sifakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Sifakis in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Kipouroi FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stavros Konidakis hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Jonatan Toli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 26th minute, one of Kipouroi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kipouroi FC. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Sifakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, Kipouroi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Toli to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Gaos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Joshua Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Secada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celalettin Eraltay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stavros Konidakis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Costa to make the kick off. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Celalettin Eraltay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Labakis in the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jonatan Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kipouroi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonatan Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Alexis Sifakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Labakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Kipouroi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
