Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. If Jonathan Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Georg Lundgren, made in the 9th minute of the game. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Sören Klintæus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Per-Olof Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. If Per-Olof Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Fastnet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 26 minutes Fastnet's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Honduras's Christian Sancho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Sören Klintæus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sören Klintæus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Tafalla scored 2-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Klintæus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fastnet's goalie prevented a goal. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Fastnet's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Espinar came free, but Sören Klintæus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Fastnet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Tunström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Olof Tunström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Anthon Finnman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Sören Klintæus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Fastnet got a freekick which was hit by Leif Njurenius. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sören Klintæus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthon Finnman in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fastnet were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Honduras for a fine match.
