Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jocelyn Bonneville charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jocelyn Bonneville the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Lambres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jocelyn Bonneville didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Jocelyn Bonneville hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Davy Chatry hit a great ball. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Steven Grenard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Steven Grenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Brian Pontoizeau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lambres and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sofiane Fleurant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lambres's Brian Pontoizeau got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. Lambres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. 30 minutes into the match, Didier Bachellerie notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 41 played minutes, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steven Grenard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uruguay reached it. Sofiane Fleurant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Steven Grenard made a huge save. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 60th minute Lambres were awarded a corner. Davy Chatry went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Lambres's corner Davy Chatry fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Auguste Macaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Grenard having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Auguste Macaigne in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Seco scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steven Grenard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Steven Grenard came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Auguste Macaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Lambres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jocelyn Bonneville didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Steven Grenard in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Despite being the better team, Uruguay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
