Jens Bohlin came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Lidström in the 10th minute. If Alex Lidström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Adrian Brander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adrian Brander really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Bohlin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boye Brøning to maneuver through the defense. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Köping fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
