Jordi Paschiers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kamiel Ingelborgh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamiel Ingelborgh. Kamiel Ingelborgh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Manfred Bruse sent off a good shot on target. Tran Vrolijcx hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Kamiel Ingelborgh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Aurel Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Ad Fundum's Constantin Budianu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Constantin Budianu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ad Fundum protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Constantin Budianu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ad Fundum:s Kamiel Ingelborgh showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. After 28 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamiel Ingelborgh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute of the match, Alexandre Van Beneden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kamiel Ingelborgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Ad Fundum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Paul Van Dijck to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Tomás Baldaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Baldaia to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Cornea in the 51st minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Paschiers in the 53rd minute of play. Kamiel Ingelborgh was a little too slow when Facundo Cadaval got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 56th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamiel Ingelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Bruse in the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Kamiel Ingelborgh in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
