Olof Unesson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Máximo Laureano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Máximo Laureano made a huge save. Máximo Laureano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Moore to maneuver through the defense. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Máximo Laureano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Máximo Laureano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gentil Setúbal might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gentil Setúbal ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gentil Setúbal in the 30th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gentil Setúbal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Aleksander Kapera came free in the 35th minute and tried to tip the ball over Marco Day, but to the joy of USA's supporters the ball went over. Terceirense F.C.'s Kerem Aktürkoglu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raphael Moore, made in the 45th minute of the game. Máximo Laureano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Terceirense F.C.'s Gunnar Löfgren was substituted for Aleksander Kapera. Gentil Setúbal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Raphael Moore threw the ball into play from the sideline. Terceirense F.C.'s Gunnar Löfgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 76th minute, Gentil Setúbal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. 79 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Terceirense F.C.'s Máximo Laureano. Máximo Laureano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Terceirense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Khalid Parry managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 87th minute of the game Raphael Moore made a throw-in which Sam Campbell played forward. Raphael Moore made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Terceirense F.C.'s Kerem Aktürkoglu. After having played for 94 minutes, Donovan Daval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Donovan Daval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
