The supporters of Rubite FC booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesaro Solano in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 29th minute of play forced Rubite FC's goalkeeper Peru Aranzubia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peru Aranzubia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Fontirroig kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Bolivia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesaro Solano in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Patiño came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Bastia Unzueta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubite FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastia Unzueta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolivia played a much better game than Rubite FC and deserved their victory. The Rubite FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
