Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bubu Denat in the 3rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 5th minute of the game was made by Francesc Pla with Antoni Villarroel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Alejandro Verdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alejandro Verdu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bubu Denat in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Alejandro Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Villarroel got free with Rolando Noboa in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Antoni Villarroel made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Francesc Pla in the 28 minute of the game. The supporters of Peru booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luz Tejedor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Villarroel in the 34th minute of play. Alejandro Verdu came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Villarroel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Alejandro Verdu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 60 minutes, Federico Zanetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Zanetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Verdu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alejandro Verdu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bubu Denat in the 70th minute of the match. When F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Bubu Denat in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 73rd minute of play. Alejandro Verdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Verdu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. If Antoni Villarroel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Verdu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luz Tejedor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 86 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Alejandro Verdu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Tenorio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bubu Denat in the 87th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 91st minute of play. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
