Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Sofiane Fleurant recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Sofiane Fleurant showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofiane Fleurant in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Sofiane Fleurant came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. After 20 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steven Grenard was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Carvallo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. When Brian Pontoizeau fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lambres's protests and gave Brian Pontoizeau a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Lambres got a freekick which was hit by Brian Pontoizeau. After 34 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steven Grenard was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Honduras booed when Lambres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Cyril Toulalan in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 56 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steven Grenard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cyril Toulalan, made in the 58th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lambres's goalkeeper Steven Grenard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Cyril Toulalan made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Ocampo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute Sofiane Fleurant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 minutes, Hugo Rochon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lambres and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steven Grenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Auguste Macaigne came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Lambres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Auguste Macaigne couldn't finish the play. If Sofiane Fleurant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lambres succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
