Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nistor Popilean kicked off to start the match. Nistor Popilean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Nistor Popilean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of play forced Sir Alexandria's goalkeeper Bogdan Şimandan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Nistor Popilean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Nistor Popilean made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Nistor Popilean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sir Alexandria's goalkeeper Bogdan Şimandan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzonyo Viyachki, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Nistor Popilean kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Domenico Serafini fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nistor Popilean in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Popilean's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Sir Alexandria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. In the 57th minute, one of Sir Alexandria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sir Alexandria. Pompiliu Pociu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sir Alexandria's Rüknettin Toktahan was substituted for Călin Lemnaru. In the 64th minute Nistor Popilean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sir Alexandria's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Şimandan came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Nistor Popilean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Şimandan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bogdan Şimandan made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Pompiliu Pociu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Popilean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Tzonyo Viyachki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nistor Popilean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Popilean in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nistor Popilean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nistor Popilean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sir Alexandria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
