Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bengt Termander kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Lautaro Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hårdmen Slak's Kent Kyrk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Hårdmen Slak from getting a goal against them. Henry Smedfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Vidar Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Hårdmen Slak's Martin Zachrisson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Hårdmen Slak booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hårdmen Slak's Martin Zachrisson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt Termander's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Martin Zachrisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Vidar Alegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Vidar Alegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Aaron Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hårdmen Slak's Valentin Björklund was substituted for Patrick Norberg. The supporters of Hårdmen Slak booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Bengt Termander came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hårdmen Slak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Termander couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Kyrk having to interfere. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Martin Zachrisson sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Bengt Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert Apelkvist hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Vidar Alegren took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute of the match, Bengt Termander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Vidar Alegren struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hårdmen Slak. In the 86th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Smedfeldt in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Hårdmen Slak booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidar Alegren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Hårdmen Slak could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
