Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Nueva Adalucia's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Larpe Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Larpe Cabrera to make any attempt to save it. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Manel Sans fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nueva Adalucia's protests and gave Manel Sans a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Nueva Adalucia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manel Sans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Oberlack came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Larpe Cabrera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvito Helguera in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvito Helguera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Alcaraz in the 61st minute of play. Larpe Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 62nd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larpe Cabrera having to interfere. In the 87th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. The goalkeeper, Dante Lacasa, was totally fooled by Nueva Adalucia's Murat Oberlack, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 99 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larpe Cabrera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nueva Adalucia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
