Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Twan Hesseling in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Hilhorst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Hesseling in the 87th minute of the match. When Ruud Geels came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Verwachting fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruud Geels couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Geels, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Herbert Hilhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
