After 5 played minutes SOLO TÜRK got a freekick which was hit by Xabi Alonso. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Adam Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Adam Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genzo Wakabayashi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Genzo Wakabayashi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Adam Öberg sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 史康磊's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genzo Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Adam Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars-Erik Rolandsson was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Rolandsson in the 56th minute of play. After 60 played minutes SOLO TÜRK got a freekick which was hit by Li Ran Xiao. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 史康磊 in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 史康磊 in the 72nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Rolandsson in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars-Erik Rolandsson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Lars-Erik Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Li Ran Xiao's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Li Ran Xiao helped the player get up and apologised. Genzo Wakabayashi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SOLO TÜRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Li Ran Xiao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
