In the 40thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fastnet's Sören Klintæus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peter Hökkvist's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Hökkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Peter Hökkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Fastnet's Sören Klintæus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Olof Tunström to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Hökkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. 52 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Hökkvist came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Klintæus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Jonathan Eliasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Fastnet getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Georg Lundgren hit a great ball. Panama were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Fastnet's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fastnet's goalie and right to Matthew Garrido. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fastnet's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sören Klintæus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Garrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Sören Klintæus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fastnet's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
