An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Cumpanașu in the 4th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Cumpanașu took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Henger ATI's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toader Vlădean came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Vlădean saved FC Henger ATI from getting behind. Toader Vlădean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Toader Vlădean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Cumpanașu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Henger ATI. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the FC Henger ATI players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ernest Cumpanașus short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, FC Henger ATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gănescu to maneuver through the defense. Toader Vlădean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Cosmin Rădescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 36 minutes, Ernest Cumpanașu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Dumitru Ababei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Henger ATI were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosmin Rădescu took the corner.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Cumpanașu made a kick off. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Dumitru Ababei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Ernest Cumpanașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Henger ATI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Cumpanașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. 73 minutes into the game, Marcel Gănescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Henger ATI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, FC Henger ATI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gănescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Ivan Hăulică hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toader Vlădean was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Ernest Cumpanașu sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 91st minute, Ernest Cumpanașu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Henger ATI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. FC Henger ATI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
