Bubu Denat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Marino Ramos struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bubu Denat in the 14th minute. Alejandro Verdu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Julian Murillo sped through F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejandro Verdu. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Verdu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bubu Denat took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Boye in the 40th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bubu Denat sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bubu Denat to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Verdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of the match. Joan Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Alejandro Verdu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bubu Denat in the 73rd minute of play. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alejandro Verdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonio Tenorio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Verdu. That made the score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
