The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaxon-James Forlán got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陶远星 in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaxon-James Forlán got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Jaxon-James Forlán sent off a good shot on target. Timo Courtois came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. But to his dismay, Kevin Mastache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 36th minute of play. Filippo Inzaghi came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. 45 minutes into the match, Jaxon-James Forlán notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 陶远星 to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Pastor Donostia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Pastor Donostia succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-3. 陶远星 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
