In the 27th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Tommy Van Gertsuyden came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Circus BAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Van Gertsuyden couldn't finish the play. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of the match. Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Van Gertsuyden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Circus BAF got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Hemelaers. After 47th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sam-Lucas Lache was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Sam-Lucas Lache got a free kick in the 59th minute. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Circus BAF's goalkeeper Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Steffen Hemelaers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Circus BAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Circus BAF's Timmy Simons got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Natan Van De Gehuchte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Circus BAF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Natan Van De Gehuchte kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Circus BAF's Lukas Gobbelijns quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Primitivo Andino, made in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to Circus BAF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lukas Gobbelijns hit a great ball. Circus BAF's Timmy Simons got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Timmy Simons off the ground. Timmy Simons kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Ignacio Van Landschoot. Circus BAF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
