When the match had gone on for 2 minutes, Mickael Volens took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marco Day to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, USA's Jenson Smith got a free kick in the 5th minute. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Marnix Peten tried to sneak it across the goal line. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC LEMUREN's goalie prevented a goal. Wilton Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of play. Wilton Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilton Cruz. FC LEMUREN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Mcdonald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 27th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marnix Peten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. When Marnix Peten came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC LEMUREN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marnix Peten couldn't finish the play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Monty Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Rubio was the one to do the kick off. Wilton Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Wilton Cruz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Monty Rogers showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 72 minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, FC LEMUREN's Mickael Volens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Wyfliets, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute FC LEMUREN were awarded a corner. Mickael Volens went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC LEMUREN's corner Mickael Volens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Khalid Parry took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Wilton Cruz to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute Marco Baker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilton Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Baker went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
