Matias Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Paskal in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Westmeerbeek defense, Victor Paskal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Dimo. The Sporting Westmeerbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Dimo should have stopped the shot. Duarte de Sena made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jacque De Brouwer sent off a good shot on target. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The Sporting Westmeerbeek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Ituzaingó were winning 0-2.

Club Atlético Ituzaingó made a substitution. Fulgencio Nikola replaced Victor Paskal. 53 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Salbatore. But to his dismay, Pieter Degraef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Matias Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Nikola, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Club Atlético Ituzaingó's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
