The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Warta Czestochowa's Ludomir Gall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marek Labus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Konrad Bugajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marek Labus having to make a save. Marek Labus made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the game, Warta Czestochowa's Ludomir Gall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ludomir Gall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ludomir Gall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Warta Czestochowa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
