Rein Douwes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. When Guillermo Mariano fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rein Douwes. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Rein Douwes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rein Douwes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hampus Albohm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Rein Douwes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hampus Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Nolmyra FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Moreno. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Rein Douwes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Douwes in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Rein Douwes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rein Douwes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 73rd minute, Rein Douwes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rein Douwes in the 82nd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vit Röd in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nolmyra FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
