Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Wlodzimierz Smolarek fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warta Czestochowa's protests and gave Wlodzimierz Smolarek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marek Labus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Cristian Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 11 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Bugajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Warta Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Marek Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Warta Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marek Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Labus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Labus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Labus. Marek Labus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Warta Czestochowa's goalkeeper Marek Labus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Konrad Bugajski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marek Labus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Warta Czestochowa defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Labus. The Warta Czestochowa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Labus should have stopped the shot. Warta Czestochowa made a substitution. Miromir Miodek replaced Patryk Andryszyn. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludomir Gall to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. 58 minutes into the match, Warta Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marek Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Bugajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Labus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Warta Czestochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Marek Labus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After 86 minutes, Miromir Miodek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Warta Czestochowa and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miromir Miodek hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Marek Labus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 90th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Miromir Miodek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
