Luiz Eduardo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Queiroz having to interfere. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rockets's Geraldo Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Aleberg in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Stefan Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Rockets's Joélson Melo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Algot Påk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rockets reached it.

52 minutes into the game, Hans Odén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Geraldo Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Algot Påk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Melo in the 55th minute of play. If Joélson Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Medeiros. Luiz Eduardo Pimenta charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Eduardo Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ZigZag Athletic booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Tommy Aleberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. The goal made the score 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Madureira in the 68th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Algot Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Hans Odén got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dudu Madureira's late challenge caught a ZigZag Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dudu Madureira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dudu Madureira hit a great ball. ZigZag Athletic's Sven-Arne Jönsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Geraldo Queiroz but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Melo in the 95th minute of play forced ZigZag Athletic's goalkeeper Algot Påk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded ZigZag Athletic left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rockets.
