Conny Gullesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yader Aramberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Wilmer Villerias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Nando Bordonoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. GUAYACO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bodil United the free kick. In the 39th minute, Nando Bordonoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingvar Hökqvist scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Mejia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 52nd minute Vela Garros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vela Garros came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vela Garros couldn't finish the play. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of FC Bodil United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. GUAYACO:s goal. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO. Gomez Argüelles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Conny Gullesson. 2-1. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Krister Billberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Vela Garros hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ingvar Hökqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Hökqvist to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Bodil United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. GUAYACO.
