An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Lichucki in the 4th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Hugo Mejia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucjan Gierlach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Caicedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Leonides Cueto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Robert Przybyciel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Mejia. C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Luis Rechani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Lichucki came free, but Hugo Mejia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Kazimierz Lichucki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernández Corral made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki. Lucjan Gierlach made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Xicu Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Mejia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Lichucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Damian Malewicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Team U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Malewicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes C.A. GUAYACO got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Murieta. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Malewicki to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Gomez Argüelles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Gierlach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. GUAYACO from getting a goal against them. Hugo Mejia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazimierz Lichucki went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Fernández Corral in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galaxy Team U18's Kazimierz Podolski. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Lichucki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Mejia. That made the score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. German Malet replaced Vela Garros. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Wilmer Villerias replaced Yader Aramberri. C.A. GUAYACO's George Temes was substituted for Luis Rechani. Damian Malewicki struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Hugo Mejia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Team U18. In the 84th minute Damian Malewicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galaxy Team U18's Lucjan Gierlach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Malet in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Ronny Caicedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. GUAYACO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy Team U18 the free kick. Ronny Caicedo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Gierlach. Lucjan Gierlach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Team U18's zone, German Malet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Gierlach came out of the goal and German Malet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Galaxy Team U18 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galaxy Team U18 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
