The ZigZag Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Algot Påk should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Mellberg during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Real Marabino booed when ZigZag Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Arixo Aponte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algot Påk skillfully saved the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Bautista Govantes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ZigZag Athletic's Algot Påk. Algot Påk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 minutes of play, Real Marabino's Arixo Aponte made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algot Påk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th match minute, Real Marabino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kinsen Aguinagalde to maneuver through the defense. Sten Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ibon Toraño having to interfere. Ibon Toraño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Berg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. With an all-out effort, Real Marabino's Algot Påk threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bautista Govantes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Marabino had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
