An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedict Annis in the 9th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Wiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Moodys IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Matthias Pike took the corner. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Matthias Pike was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Ove Wiman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 13th minute, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Logan Kayrooz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Logan Kayrooz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Logan Kayrooz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Logan Kayrooz got a free kick in the 13th minute. Aron Blestowe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jan-Ove Wiman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rick Kile's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The Moodys IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Ove Wiman should have stopped the shot. After the first half AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rick Kile to make the kick off. If Benedict Annis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Moodys IF's zone, Lucas Crossa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Wiman came out of the goal and Lucas Crossa tried to chip the ball over his head. After a defensive mix-up in Moodys IF's zone, Rick Kile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ove Wiman came out of the goal and Rick Kile tried to chip the ball over his head. Moodys IF's Jan-Ove Wiman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick Kile in the 86th minute of play. Jan-Ove Wiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedict Annis in the 88th minute of the match. Benedict Annis's late challenge caught a Moodys IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedict Annis helped the player get up and apologised. Carl Smefeldt hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Pike got free with Jan-Ove Wiman in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
