The Real Marabino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ibon Toraño should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bobby Abreu sped through Galaxy Team U18's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucjan Gierlach. Lucjan Gierlach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arixo Aponte in the 19th minute of play. Ibon Toraño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliusz Mietus in the 22nd minute. Aureliusz Mietus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ibon Toraño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Pawel Korytkowski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 44 played minutes Galaxy Team U18 got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Dabrowski. 46 minutes into the game, Real Marabino's Arixo Aponte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Gierlach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The wind increased when Leonard Furgat made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Babe Ruth in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki. Martin Porquera charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
