With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Leach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Senator S.A.K's Brice Leach threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jiang Liang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 34 minutes into the match, Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brice Leach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes Varennes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehdi Dündaroğlu who took care of the corner kick. Mehdi Dündaroğlu made a great header on Senator S.A.K's corner, it was just that Varennes's Brice Leach managed to reach the ball for a save. Varennes made a substitution. Adolphe Murdock replaced Brad Elliott. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jiang Liang was the one to do the kick off. Felicien Mooney's late challenge caught a Senator S.A.K's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felicien Mooney helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Felicien Mooney. Brice Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Pasin in the 55th minute of play. Varennes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edoardo Pasin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 68th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Braswell to maneuver through the defense. When Mehdi Dündaroğlu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Senator S.A.K fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehdi Dündaroğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Jiang Liang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes of play, Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brice Leach was left in no man's land by his defense there!
