During this time Viseu United's players had a chance to rest. 15 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luís Nogueira came free, but Adrian Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Tenho Bolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Senator S.A.K's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ali Tayfur came free, but Edvin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Israel Barea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar. Edvin van der Sar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's İhsan Özgun got a free kick in the 39th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Adrian Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Mis, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Lei Shu Gang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Sancarbey Çinuçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes, Raşit Kuter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senator S.A.K and the Viseu United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Despite this Edvin van der Sar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Shu Gang in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Lei Shu Gang got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edvin van der Sar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Senator S.A.K from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tenho Bolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viseu United's supporters rose to their feet, but Tenho Bolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
