Alfredo Arruda ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alfredo Arruda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni did a great save. SC Angrense's Emanuel Pereira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni got control of the ball when Teodoro Durães tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Luis Alberto Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Angrense's Paulo Belém was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Laus Deo's Kong Ping sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Belém narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, SC Angrense's Emanuel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arsenio Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kong Ping, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laus Deo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Timur Belyaninov in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Timur Belyaninov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulo Belém quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

SC Angrense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laus Deo the free kick. In the 55th match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Jairo Sardinha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arsenio Manni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Laus Deo's Robinho Recife slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Belém. That made the score 1-1 after 65 minutes of play. After 71 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Michel de Alcântara. In the 72nd minute Alfredo Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Pereira in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsenio Manni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Cacá Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Durães in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Manni saved Laus Deo from getting behind. Arsenio Manni came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Angrense's Emanuel Pereira. But to his dismay, Emanuel Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 90th minute, Mateus Vilela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Teodoro Durães came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SC Angrense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Durães couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Kong Ping kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The SC Angrense players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
